The finale of Module 1. Children look back on what AI is, where it lives and how it helps – then get creative and invent a smart machine of their own to share with the group.

Reflection is built into every ChimpVine module because it’s where learning sticks. Presenting an invention to others also builds the speaking confidence that carries into every later lesson.

What your child will do
• Oral quiz with flashcards: “Is this AI or not?”
• Draw Your Own Smart Machine and decide what it does
• Group Discussion: “What did we learn about smart machines? How do they help people?”
• Fill-in-the-blanks and the closing “You Did It!”

By the end, your child can
• Explain in their own words what AI is
• Turn an idea into a drawing and describe it to others
• Listen to and build on classmates’ ideas
