• Policy Purpose

This policy outlines the ethical, legal, and operational standards governing the use of AI-powered educational tools, training modules, and content delivery systems on the ChimpVine platform by teachers and students. 

The objective is to ensure responsible, safe, and equitable use of AI technologies in education.

• Scope

This policy applies to:

1. All teachers, students, everyone and anyone using  ChimpVine’s platform.
   
2. All AI-generated content, assessments, feedback, and training materials.
    
3. All geographic regions where ChimpVine is legally available.
   

•  User Eligibility Policy
  

Students under 13 may access ChimpVine only with verified parental consent as required under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Educational institutions must verify consent and supervise student activity in compliance with FERPA and relevant data protection legislation.

• Acceptable Use Policy

All users must:

1. Use the platform for educational and non-commercial purposes only.
   
2. Abide by ethical learning principles and AI usage guidelines.
   
3. Respect intellectual property and refrain from unauthorized copying, sharing, or misuse of AI-generated content.
   

Users are strictly prohibited from:

1. Reverse engineering or attempting to access the source code of any part of the Platform.
   
2. Using AI tools to facilitate academic dishonesty, impersonate others, or manipulate performance data.
   
3. Distributing, modifying, or monetizing curriculum materials without express permission from ChimpVine.
   

•  Data Protection and Privacy Policy

1. ChimpVine is committed to full compliance with data protection laws 
2. All data collected is limited to educational use and processed lawfully and transparently.
   
3. No personal data is sold to third parties or used for targeted advertising.
   
4. Anonymized learning data may be used to improve platform performance, algorithm quality, and curriculum development.
   
5. Users and guardians have the right to request data access, correction, or deletion at any time.

•  Intellectual Property Policy

1. All platform content—including AI modules, visuals, training guides, and curricula—are the exclusive intellectual property of ChimpVine Pvt. Ltd. and/or its licensors.
   1.  No part of the content may be reproduced, distributed, or published in any form without prior written authorization.
      
   2. Teachers may use materials within the scope of classroom delivery or as licensed through institutional agreements.
      

• AI Use Ethics Policy

1. The AI system is an assistive educational tool, not a substitute for human judgment.
   
2. Teachers are responsible for critically interpreting AI-generated outputs before using them for evaluation or instructional purposes.
   
3. Students must be trained in responsible AI interaction and should not rely on AI for final academic answers or solutions.
   
4. ChimpVine assumes no liability for misinterpretations or reliance solely on AI-generated feedback.
   

• Digital Conduct and Community Policy

All users must:

1. Uphold respectful communication, academic integrity, and digital citizenship.
   
2. Report technical misuse, policy violations, or unsafe AI behavior.
   
3. Avoid uploading or disseminating any malicious, defamatory, illegal, or inappropriate content.
   

Violations include:

1. Harassment or bullying of other users
2. Circumventing platform security features
   
3. Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
   

• Monitoring and Accountability Policy

Educational institutions and supervising adults are accountable for monitoring student activity on the platform.

ChimpVine may audit user activity for policy compliance, platform improvement, and safety enforcement.

• Policy Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

1. Temporary or permanent account suspension
   
2. Revocation of access privileges
   
3. Notification to institutional authorities or legal enforcement agencies
   
4. Civil or criminal liability where applicable
   

• Policy Review and Amendment

This policy is reviewed annually and may be amended as technology, regulations, or user needs evolve.
Continued use of the Platform following updates implies acceptance of the revised policy.
